Firm personnel specialize in community development and planning with a successful management system that meets the needs of their clients and ensures the inclusion of sufficient input from members of the community.

Our staff has over one hundred years of combined experience in master planning, community/economic development projects, comprehensive planning/zoning, downtown revitalization, industrial park improvements, graphic assistance, and other specialized projects.

Officers

Peggy Morrison : President/CEO

A graduate of Virginia Tech, Peggy has worked in the community development field for 28 years, with experience in every facet of federal and state funding programs from the conceptual stage to project management and program compliance. Her experience with these grant programs includes project design, application development, and management assistance with an emphasis on housing, neighborhood redevelopment, economic development, and construction project management. She is a member of the American Planning Association.

Craig Wilson, AICP : Vice President

Planning is a second career for Craig, having previously served in inner-city ministry for 9 years and as a denominational administrator for 18 years. He holds a Master's in Urban and Regional Planning from VCU. Craig focuses on economic development, downtown restructuring and revitalization, community branding, market and demographic analysis, and public participation/facilitation.

Christopher Ward : Secretary/Treasurer

Chris received a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Wake Forest University and a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Virginia Commonwealth University. He specializes in the planning and implementation of CDBG projects that focus on downtown revitalization, housing rehabilitation and production, adaptive re-use, and economic development with a particular emphasis on working with citizen and neighborhood groups.

Brian Reagan, AICP

Brian holds a graduate degree from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University. His current projects include comprehensive planning, acquisition and relocation, market study analysis, labor compliance standards, and CDBG grant management. He is a member of the American Planning Association, Citizens Planning Education Association of Virginia, National Geographic Society, and Gamma Theta Upsilon International Geographic Honor Society.

Michael Dodson, CFM

Michael attended both Virginia Tech and VCU, and has an extensive background in community development and disaster recovery from 7 years of service with the City of Richmond. His work includes assistance in FEMA Hazard Mitigation and CDBG Urgent Needs grants. He has been certified by the Department of Homeland Security and the Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM) in Mitigation Project Development, and is a member of the American Planning Association.

Travis Lindsey

Travis holds a Master's of Public Administration from James Madison University. His previous work experience includes several years as a firefighter and emergency medical technician. He has a background in planning, public safety, and emergency management. Currently, he assists with disaster recovery and hazard mitigation planning as well as community development projects.

Sam Tuttle

A graduate of Virginia Tech, Sam spent several years as a campus missions intern in Australia and, before that, a year interning with K. W. Poore and Associates. He currently assists with market research, grant application preparation, compliance with federal labor standards, and neighborhood research.

Joel Webne

Joel's work with the firm includes designing displays, presentations, and maps for projects including comprehensive plans, housing studies, and downtown revitalizations. He also serves as the point of contact for sales information on our Housekeeping and Home Maintenance manuals.

Jeanette Snyder

The firm's office manager, Jeanette is also the Contract Compliance Officer, working with contractors and localities to ensure payroll records and other documentation for federally funded construction projects is in compliance with Federal Labor Standards.
